OpenAI and NVIDIA Announce Strategic Partnership to Deploy 10 Gigawatts of NVIDIA Systems

OpenAI and NVIDIA have announced a landmark strategic partnership to deploy at least 10 gigawatts of NVIDIA systems to power OpenAI’s next-generation AI infrastructure. This collaboration will provide the massive compute capacity required for training and running the future of AI models, moving closer to the goal of artificial general intelligence.
Massive Investment to Fuel AI Growth
To support this deployment, NVIDIA plans to progressively invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI as each gigawatt of systems is deployed. The first gigawatt is expected to come online in the second half of 2026 using the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform.
